Relieving a happy Welsh childhood

I was brought up in England but into a Welsh family. We spoke Welsh at home and visited the 'family farm' in Carmarthenshire frequently. We made Bara Brith regularly. Many years have passed and I am the only one of my family left now. I suddenly really wanted to have Bara Brith again and was delighted to find it was being sold. I've got 2 loaves and I'm enjoying it so much. Thank you. Two of my grandchildren are visiting me this week and I will introduce them to it as well.

Spent a week in North Wales & tried Bara Brith it was lovely but I only got one loaf so when I came home I looked on line & found the Little Welsh Company & ordered 6 more to give friends. Easy to order & the parcel arrived promptly with no damage or anything. I would be happy to use this company again very pleased.

Bara Brith

Delicious fruit loaf and delivered quickly. The only let down was the unenvironmentally-friendly polystyrene used in the packaging.

Hi Heather, thanks so much for taking the time to write a review and i'm really glad you liked the Bara Brith and quick delivery. The packaging fill we use is called Eco Flo, it's made by a local company in Cardiff and is 100% biodegradable Corn Starch. Thankfully we don't see much polystyrene these days. Thanks again, Little Welsh Co.
